Please note as Sandstone is a naturally porous material and if not sealed properly can absorb dirt, moisture and other substances which can cause staining, discolouration & deterioration of the surface. It is recommended that sandstone is sealed 6 weeks after being laid. Sealing sandstone helps prevent the above mentioned issues and will create a barrier that repels water, oil and other substances. Sealing sandstone also helps protect the stone from UV rays.
